Falcons Barta CZ

Falconry | Falcons breeding | Falcons for hunting

Our history ...

Our farm has longest tradition in East and South Europe. It was established in 1978 as a breeding station of the Agency for Nature Conservation and Landscape Protection of the Czech Republic. The original purpose of the farm was increase falcons population in Czech republic. First chicks were breed in 1980 (Falco cherrug) and 1981 (Falco peregrinus). Young falcons were send out in open air to increase the population. Our first breed pairs (Falco cherrug and Falco peregrinus) were mainly from Czech republic and Scotland.

Nowadays, we breed also hunting falcons (Falco rusticolus) - originally from USA and most requsted hybrid falcons. Falconers are our main customers.

The breeding is reduced to small count of falcons with good hunting abilities. Jaroslav Barta (companu owner) is active falconer since 1968 and he hunt with falcons from his breed (You can see some video samples here). He has great experience with choosing best falcons for the breed. Falcons from 'Falcons Barta - CZ' are appreciated by falconers in Europe and Middle East.
